This is said to be to accelerate the development of fundamental technologies and use cases underpinned by 6G technology.
6G is the name for the 6th generation of cellular networks.

Once the data is collected, algorithms analyze it to derive meaningful information.
This analysis could include identifying the presence of objects, tracking the movement of people or detecting changes in the environment.
The International Telecommunication Union is a United Nations body.
Its Study Group is said to have accepted India’s proposal for 6G tech coverage.
This could significantly reduce the deployment costs of next-generation tech.
India is, also, said to have secured over 200 patents through collaborations between industry and academia, supported by the the Department of Telecom.
