The MSME Vikas Utsav 2025- The Kolkata Chapter

RizingBharat is proud to present “The MSME Vikas Utsav 2025 – The Kolkata Chapter”. This is in partnership with the CGTMSE (Credit Guarantee fund Trust for Micro & Small Enterprises) – which has the ability to offer collateral-free credit guarantees for India’s MSEs and which was formed by the Government of India, the Ministry of MSME and SIDBI.

The event would take place on the 21st of February 2025 in Kolkata. And this would bring together current and aspiring MSME/startup professionals, investors and other stakeholders.

And why The Kolkata Chapter? Here, you’d find MSME predominance in West Bengal in areas, like iron and steel, gems and jewellery, leather, textile and apparel & more. And did you know that Bengal tops the list of states with the most MSMEs owned by women in India?

This workshop session, with Chiranjit Mandal, AGM – SIDBI, would explore how SIDBI is addressing the credit gaps that India’s MSEs face, how it deals with sector-specific challenges, like access to formal credit in informal sectors, how SIDBI’s financial instruments, equity investments, VC support and debt financing have changed the fortune of many a burgeoning venture, the role SIDBI has played in positioning the country as the world’s third-largest startup ecosystem and more.
