And in September 2023, it was announced that Nvidia had made significant and strategic partnerships with Indian conglomerates, like Reliance Industries, the Tata Group and Infosys
When it comes to Reliance and the Tata Group, the partnerships aim to develop AI-powered supercomputers, generative AI applications and more.
Reliance’s telecom and tech subsidiary is Jio Platforms.
The collaboration with Reliance is said to aim at building an AI infrastructure that would serve Reliance Jio’s 450 million customers and provide energy-efficient AI solutions for scientists, developers and startups across India.
It is said that the infrastructure would be hosted in AI-ready computing data centers.
Reliance Jio would oversee the execution and implementation of this project, with Nvidia serving as a tech partner.

People and businesses could use it to make computers smarter.
Tata Communications would build this AI cloud powered by Nvidia’s GH200 AI chip.
Tata Consultancy Services is an IT services and consulting company that’s part of the Tata Group.
