What’s going on with women engaged with agri-food systems? In November 2023, there was research published in a journal called “Frontiers In Sustainable Food Systems”. According to the research, a hotspot map was created that visually represents data as colours. The map ranked 87 countries based on climate change threats to women in agri-food systems. These climate risks are said to include floods, drought or a short crop-growing season. And where did India rank? 12th on the risk index.
